Uppli uSatellite brings file sharing to J2ME handsets

San Diego, CA (April 29th, 2002) - Uppli unveils a new application for java-enabled cellphones and PDAs, uSatellite, a mobile music sharing midlet based on Audiogalaxy service.
uSatellite is the first midlet to bring wireline internet's killer application of file sharing to the mobile community.

uSatellite allows any J2ME handset to access Audiogalaxy music archives on the move, launch downloads and play songs at user's internet-connected PC.
uSatellite is a network-aware application compliant with Java™ 2 Micro Edition CLDC MIDP and it does not require any proprietary server-side component.

Uppli develops J2ME applications such as instant messaging and music sharing, which are a step beyond hangman or tic-tac-toe java games, bringing real value to the mobile experience.
